TRANSFER TALK: Arsenal, Liverpool FC and Tottenham

Well, considering that Tottenham and Manchester City have joined the elite group of Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, our transfer gossip column will be on the ‘Top Six’

Bojan Krikic (Barcelona to Liverpool/Arsenal)

This one’s quite an old rumour, but apparently it is once again being given some attention by the media, with Liverpool FC and/or Arsenal FC set to step up in their chase for Barcelona’s young forward, Bojan Krikic.

According to several newspapers and reports from Spain, Bojan Krikic is apparently unhappy with the lack of first team playing time that can be found at the Catalunya based club and is looking for a new club who is both up to standard, and a team that would be able to offer him much needed first team playing time.

The versatile 20 year old has failed to break into the first team, unlike compatriot Pedro Rodriguez, whom has broken into the first team and made himself a permanent selection choice over the previous two years.

The startlet has only made a mere 7 appearances for Barcelona this term and just 40 appearances in 4 years since his debut for Barcelona back in 2007.

Stephan Lichtsteiner (Lazio to Tottenham)

According to the news agency Tuttosport, Stephan Lichtsteiner is currently being tracked by several scouts of Barclays Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. Lichtsteiner has had a good season with Lazio and has attracted the attention of even the biggest clubs such as Juventus.

It’s been a case of running, running and even more running for the right back, as he has truly made turning defending into attacking an art with his running and his technique down the right flank and he has been the driving force behind the revival of his club side Lazio this season.
