Gareth Bale to Miss Rest of Season

Well, I guess not that much that he is missing out, especially considering the fact that there are only two games left, I’m sure Tottenham can cope

The Welsh winger was in agony after a horrendous tackle by Blackpool player, Charlie Adam, left him clutching his ankle in pain, and it reached a point when it was even feared that the speedster had broken his ankle, but thankfully it was not as feared.

It was a bad ankle knock. I wouldn’t think he would play this season, it’ll keep him out now. It’s badly swollen so we’ll just wait and see what the damage is.

It looks like he has done his ankle ligaments. I don’t see him playing again this season.

But of course he misses out the cruch tie with Liverpool FC, which looks to decide who will take the Europa League spot this season, a match that might be crucial to keeping the winger at White Hart Lane himself, although he has quashed rumours linking him away.

Well, I certainly hope that the left back-come-left winger will return to action pretty quickly, as he certainly is a joy to watch, especially against Inter Milan.

From Hodgson With Love

Liverpool emblem

Well, it doesn’t take a genius to work out that Roy Hodgson’s time at Liverpool was a failure, but he left a parting gift, as he took 2 points from Tottenham yesterday

This leaves Liverpool a chance to capture the elusive Europa League place should they finish 5th in the table. As of now, Liverpool FC are 3 points behind Tottenham with a superior goal difference, although Tottenham have a game in hand.

But Liverpool FC still have a game against Tottenham, which leaves the chase for 5th spot wide open after Tottenham’s draw with Roy Hodgson’s current club, West Brom. Liverpool FC made light work of Birmingham City yesterday as they brushed the Brums aside 5-0 with a hat trick by winger Maxi Rodriguez.

Kenny Dalglish has done a terrific job in steering the ship at Anfield after their disastrous start to life under Roy Hodgson.
