Manchester United and Arsenal Strikers to move to Besiktas

It looks like two unsettled strikers in the Premier League, Manchester United’s Bebe and Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner, will sign for Turkish side Besiktas in the summer.

Well, Bendtner has already admitted that he is “100% certain” of leaving the Gunners this summer, and we were pretty much certain that he was heading to the Bundesliga, but it looks like Besiktas hve come in with a very interesting proposition today. The twist is that Besiktas have come up with an offer for the player which Arsenal can’t seem to refuse.

The Daily Mirror have reported that the Turkish club have come in with a bid with a fee in the region of 12 million pounds and are hopeful they will be able to whisk the Dane away from the Emirates. What has to go down in consideration though is whether Bendtner himself actually wants this move. We all know that he holds himself to high esteem, with him even claiming just less than a month ago that he would like to move to Barcelona, so it will be interesting to see if he wants this move at all.

And now to potentially the worst signing of last summer: Manchester United’s Bebe. The lost striker is set for a move to the Turkish giants as well, and Manchester United could see themselves losing 5 million pounds in two years as they have almost come to an agreement with Besiktas that sees Bebe move to the Turkish giants on a season loan. At the end of that one season, Besiktas will have an option of buying him for a £2m cut-price transfer next summer. Flop.

So what do you guys think of these transfer developments? Bendtner should stay? Bebe should be given a few more years? Thoughts can go to the comments section below.
