Goodbye N’gog, Hello Henderson

According to Sky Sports, Liverpool have officially agreed on a deal with Sunderland over their midfielder Jordan Henderson.

The deal is apparently worth 20 million pounds, with David N’gog acting as a make-weight in the deal which sees him move to the Stadium of Light for next season. Henderson has a medical to wrap up today, before he meets up with the Under 21s ahead of the Under 21 European Championships.

Henderson has made oover 70 appearances for Sunderland, and has even garnered a few caps already, thanks to his impressive form. Being just 21 and ever improving, Liverpool will be hoping that he will bring something new to their game, and through parting with 20 million pounds, he better be good.

Could N’gog have made it big? That’s another question now. So many times has he been tossed in a Europa League game that many supporters don’t watch him play regularly. One musn’t forget his cool and composed finish against Manchester United just over a year ago. But he simply can’t cut it in the big time. His slopiness being the key factor here. But I wish him all the success with the Black Cats.
