The June 5th Transfer Gossip: Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool

Well, so it’s another day of gossip and we sure have a lot of stuff for you guys. Sorry about not posting yesterday, but I have been really busy with some stuff.

Stuff Around our site:
Berbatov to move to PSG?
Arsenal to make move for Jermain Defoe?

And what the papers say:
Liverpool FC Reckon Manchester United have a better chance at signing Young
Well, even Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has openly admitted that Manchester United have a better chance of signing English winger Ashley Young after being locked in a battle for the winger with the Red Devils over the past few months.

Will Liverpool actually pull out of the race for Young though? That remains to be seen, it could also simply another mind game between Dalglish and Alex Ferguson there, so well, you never really know.

But They’re Lining Up Charles N’zogbia
Perhaps the clearest indication of Liverpool giving up on Ashley Young in the papers this morning as The Mirror has suggested that the Merseysiders have shifted their attention to Wigan winger Charles N’zogbia.

Apparently, they have been looking into a potential deal with Charles N’zogbia to make sure that they secure a winger this summer, one of their summer priorities.

Liverpool PLACED A Bid for Connor Wickham
I’m sorry guys, but there simply has been too much Liverpool news in the papers this morning. Here’s a line from The Independent:

Liverpool have offered £8m for 18-year-old Ipswich striker Connor Wickham but the East Anglian side are holding out for £10m.

They key word here is ‘offered’. Well, this genuinely shows that Liverpool are indeed very interested in the Ipswich man.

So well, that’s if for today folks!
