It looks pretty much a done deal, and Arsenal midfielder Denilson is set to make a 8 million pound switch to Sevilla in the coming summer.
Sevilla are reportedly on the verge of submitting an 8 million pound deal for the Brazilian midfielder to take him away from the Emirates. Although, it would be interesting to watch, as Sevilla haven’t been winning trophies consistently, although they did win the Copa del Rey just a year back, so it will be interesting to see if Denilson would actually swap teams from a team that doesn’t win trophies to another.
Denilson hasn’t convinced the Arsenal faithful that he’s the best passer/tackler/anything-er either, so Arsenal fans don’t exactly mind the departure of Denilson in the coming summer. Cesc Fabregas and Jack Wilshere form their strongest central midfield set-up and another reason behind Denilson wanting to leave is his lack of game time.
I personally don’t value Denilson at 8 million pounds, yes, he is still quite young and he has a lot more years to learn and develop, but I don’t see him as able to win over supporters of whatever team he joins for next season’s campaign. Denilson’s simply not up to the level.
So what do you guys think about that? Denilson should go? Denilson should stay? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below!
