Arsenal’s Denilson to move to Roma?

In light of Arsenal midfielder Denilson’s submission of a transfer request, Serie A club Roma have been weighing up a move for the Brazilian

It is rumoured that Italian club Roma are in fact due to submit the first transfer deal for Arsenal midfielder Denilson as they are considering a move of 5 million pounds for the midfielder. Sportsmail revealed  last month the midfielder’s desire to leave The Emirates, prompting the Roma club to ponder a move.

Arsene Wenger has already given his consent for him to leave in the summer, but it is yet to be seen how much they are seeking for a player that has seen so little action this season. So little action that he has only made 20 Barclays Premier League starts throughout the course of the season.

The emergence of Jack Wilshere is the reason behind this, as he has moved Denilson down in the pecking order and has been forced to come off the bench more than a number of occasions. The Brazilian is apparently looking for somewhere where he can get both silverware and playing time at the same time, so it remains to be seen whether he would like that move to Roma in the summer.
