The Anything Goes Transfer Gossip

Sad day here in the office, Manchester United have won the 19, but as usual our gossip column continues as usual, so let’s get right to it.

Ashley Young, Aston Villa to Manchester United/Liverpool FC

This one’s more directed to Manchester United for the time being, but he’s also rumoured to be interested in a move to Merseyside, so I guess anything goes for this one as he has come out and made a statement saying:

I’m an ambitious person who wants to win titles and leagues and cups and stuff.

Ashley Young

The Daily Express is assuming that he is hoping that that statement will lure either side into making a move for him. But they will have to stump up around 15 million pounds in cash, although Young’s contract is due to run out pretty soon.

Carlos Tevez, Manchester City to Somewhere

Well, it’s quite clear that disgruntled Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez is unhappy at Eastlands, and Manchester City manager has ‘sort of’ allowed Tevez to leave in the summer.

If I’m not happy to stay, then I’ll leave. It’s the same for the players. If they aren’t happy to stay, it’s better they leave.

Roberto Mancini

Lack of motivation or simply distaste for manager? I’ll never be able to tell.

Werder Bremen star claims Liverpool interest

The Werder Bremen star I’m talking about is in fact Werder Bremen speedster Marko Marin and he himself has come out with a statement claiming that Liverpool are big followers of the German prodigy.

TalkSport claims that he has made this statement and I guess it kinda makes sense that Liverpool do in fact need a winger who can drag defenders out wide and to knock in a good cross to Liverpool record signing Andy Carroll.
