The 1.2.3 Transfer Gossip

Well, our gossip column is back today and with some juicy gossip involving some gossip from Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal FC

Well, let’s start with some smaller news.

Rafael Van Der Vaart (Tottenham)

VDV apparently is set to be off in the summer, despite having a fairly successful season with Tottenham on his debut season in the BPL. Apparently a ‘lack of mobility’ and ‘ongoing injury concerns’ mean that VdV is not exactly the most wanted player around London according to newspaper, The People….

….. Van Der Vaart to Chelsea

Well, that only applies to North London, as it is reported that Abramovic wants VdV among the players that he will buy in the summer. Chelsea apparently ‘need a creative player’ among their ranks, hence set to bring in the Dutchman to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Goetze, Dortmund to Arsenal FC

Ask any Arsenal fan what they desperately need in the summer, and they will all, to a man, say ‘Another young, creative and potentially flakey attacking midfielder please.’

And if The Sunday Mirror have got their facts straight, that wish could come true, as they report Arsenal are sniffing around Borussia Dortmund’s Mario Goetze, fresh from winning the Bundesliga.

The 18-year-old has impressed anyone with eyes this season just gone, and the paper reports that he could be the perfect replacement for Samir Nasri, who may be sold if talks over a new contract don’t go brilliantly.

Well, not exactly sure that Arsenal need another ‘Ramsey’ among their ranks as they already have a lot of young talent, but that’s what is reported.
