The Mother’s Day Transfer Gossip

Well, we’ve got some transfer gossip today, featuring an update on Arsenal’s summer clear-out, Liverpool’s transfer activity and some other bits and blobs.

Arsenal Clear Out Update

Arsenal’s want away striker, Nicklas Bendtner WILL leave in the coming summer despite Arsene Wenger’s attempts to keep him in the Emirates for beyond the summer. The Danish International has become increasingly unhappy with the lack of playing time that he got with Arsenal, therefore seeking a move to greener pastures…

…. and there is no shortage of clubs who want him, apparently, with Fulham and Bayern Munich apparently on the list of clubs who are seeking the services of the tall striker in the summer.

It’s true he didn’t get enough games. Personally, I want him to stay, because he’s a young striker with top quality – but I have to sit down with him.

Liverpool Chase After Lennon..

After the young English International has had a breakdown in relationship with Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp. Goal.com report that Tottenham are prepared to sell the want-away winger for a fee of 15 million pounds.

Kenny Dalglish is looking for a swap deal, with Joe Cole looking to go the other way. Lennon’s relationship with Redknapp broke down following inconsistent form and even a frustrated tweet, where he pushed the blame of Champions League defeat upon his teammates.

Other Bits and Blobs

Liverpool FC chasing former player John Arne Riise…. Arsenal are chasing after defensive duo Tasci and Jan Vertonghen…. Benitez is set to be in charge of Aston Villa should Gerard Houlier’s health problems continue to bug him
