Ramsey Steps Out Of Wilshere’s Shadow: Arsenal 1-0 Manchester United

Arsenal defeated Manchester United to keep both their’s and Chelsea’s title hopes alive and dented confidence in the Manchester camp greatly.

The stoppage time curse is over for Arsenal, as they managed to keep Manchester United at bay for the whole 90 minutes, which secured themselves a potentially crucial victory at the Emirates against the Red Devils.

Aaron Ramsey who returned from injury following his horrific injury from a Ryan Shawcross tackle about a month ago, applied a cool finish to beat Edwin Van Der Sar from near the edge of the box.

Wilshere has been the starring new figure in Arsenal’s midfield this season, but Ramsey made a case for himself in the Arsenal midfield after a goal against Manchester United.

This leaves Chelsea with a chance at the Premier League title this season, with the Blues yet to play their second fixture against Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League season.

There were two penalty shouts in this game, one being by Vidic, which ruined a Robin Van Persie header chance. The other shout came on the part of Gael Clichy, who brought down Michael Owen on the edge of the box on the 86th minute.
