Well, apparently Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic is trying to do everything in his power to give whatever Fernando Torres needs to succeed, and true, he did cost 50 million pounds, but listen to the price for the MAYBE help will cost: 60 million pounds
Chelsea owner is looking to sign Palermo’s Javier Pastore and recreating the famous Fernando Torres-Steven Gerrard combination at Stamford Bridge. Palermo’s owner has been holding his own and won’t sell for less than a hefty sum of 60 million pounds.
Apparently, he’s already rejected a 50 million pound bid for him, although we doubt his words, pretty sure that noone in their right mind would bid that big of a sum for an unproven player, would they? Well, whichever way it goes, Abramovic wants his ways, and won’t stop at nothing to sign Pastore.
His fine close control and creativity would make him an excellent asset in Chelsea’s team, with a role behind Fernando Torres earmarked to replicate the Spanish striker’s partnership at Liverpool with Steven Gerrard at Liverpool FC.
Roma, Barcelona and even the likes of Inter Milan and Juventus are rumoured to be interested in the Argentine prospect.
