Pastore going nowhere

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has dismissed all of Javier Pastore’s transfer rumours of him leaving the club at the end of the season.

The Italian side have been facing an uphill battle to hold onto their star winger, but reports have now showed that they have succeeded their quest after  Zamparini said that the 21-year-old has made up his mind – which is to stay at the club.

After being named as the 2010 Serie A Young Player of the Year, Javier Pastore has attracted the attention of many top European clubs, including Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Maurizio Zamparini also revealed that he has turned down a massive £43 million offer for Javier Pastore from an unnamed club.

Since joining from Huracan in the year 2009, Pastore has been making a big name for himself in the last two years. He currently has 10 goals and 4 assists from a total of 30 appearances to his name.
