Modric rejects transfer rumours

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric has rejected speculations of him leaving the club when the season comes to an end.

The Croatian ace is currently under contract at White Hart Lane until 2016 and the club has certainly no plans to offload him. With Chelsea and Manchester United both already expressed their interest on Modric, Italian clubs Juventus and Inter Milan were the latest sides linked with a move for the 25-year-old.

Juventus and Inter’s interest? These are just rumours.

Having been excellent for Tottenham Hotspur by holding up their midfield play, Luka Modric as only found the back of the net once so far this season after 23 appearances (which he started them all).

With 9 games left to play, Harry Redknapp’s men are currently lying 5th in the Barclays Premier League table with 49 points, knowing that they have to overcome a four point deficit to overtake Manchester City for a place in the prestigious UEFA Champions League next season.
