Season Of Absolute Failiure For Arsenal

This season has been a roller coaster season for all the teams, but Arsenal have to take the prize of having the best team to not win anything

Arsenal only have the Premier League to fight for, and that even looks like going to Manchester United, after going out of the League Cup in the finals, the Champions League after winning their first leg tie against Barcelona and their defeat in the quarters in the FA Cup.

So what went wrong this season? It is debatable what went wrong for Arsenal, from Thomas Vermaelen’s early surgery, one that looked to destroy their season early on, and so it has, with Koscielny making a practical joke out of himself and Squilacci looking like he hasn’t seen a football in his life.

Arsene Wenger certainly needs to step up and actually bring some ‘star quality’ into his team, his best recent signing being French midfielder Samir Nasri. Look at it this way, their two big signings have been Andrey Arshavin and Samir Nasri, both have became debatably huge properties at the club, improving every match, whilst the youngsters take years to break into the first team.

It’s time to sign players for Arsenal, and Wenger has to do that….. fast.

Fellow gunners, looking at the game at Oltraford it lack of quality that let us down. Arsenal had more shots on goal than United but the quality of the finish was debatable.United got few chances but they were clinical enough.Unless Arsenal brings in quality players the wait for silverware will continue. With only EPL remaining to struggle for and the fact that United is still on our path it still looks difficult to win EPL.DJOURU is out the partnership of KOS and SQU is another disaster, after loosing TV5 WEnger should have brought in a central defender in january.LEHMAN is coming back and Almunia will remain in goal all unpredictable players.Lets pray that AW will change and bring quality players. I know one or two players will leave due to lack of ambition at the Emirates and Wenger will promote players from the Academy to fill their place, by the time they mature need for trophies will drive them away which means we remain the thsame level year in -out.Even Barca with the best academy still buy quality players who are mature.Welcome back Lehman.

Rubbish. This is a team that “wouldn’t get in the top ten” this season.
We got in the finals of the Carling – could have won it
Took Barca to two legs of the knockout stages – could have won that
Got to the sixth round of the FA cup,
And are three points off the top with a game in hand, and this is “failure”????
We aren’t even in dept.EVERYONE ELSE IS!!! INCLUDING BARCA
IF IT WASN’T FOR SOME OUT OF DATE REFEREEING, WE’D BE NINE POINTS CLEAR

  6. Let us give our darling team maximum surpout now this is wen they need us most at the time they have crisis, rather comonize & bastertize them ,since we hav realize that every Jan / feb injury invade the team we think of hw to resolve that rather than castigating them.
