AC Milan vs Juventus Review

Match result : AC Milan  1 : 0  Juventus

Gennaro Gattuso’s goal drought of more than three years has been successfully ended has the midfielder scored the winning goal in his team‘s crucial 1-0 win over Juventus.

The only goal of the match came when Gattuso pounced on a knock-down from Zlatan Ibrahimovic to fire a left-footed shot from the edge of the area. Milan had rarely created any chances before their defensive midfielder struck. Their only previous attempt on target was a long-range free-kick from their Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which Juventus goalkeeper Gianlugi Buffon did well to parry.

The win now gives AC Milan an enormous 8 point lead at the top of the Serie A table. Meanwhile, their nearest title contender, Inter Milan, will try their best to close the gap to 5 by beating Genoa.

The loss meant Juventus has been defeated for the 7th time in 11 matches. It was also their third successive lost as they find themselves 20 points off the pace.
