A New Liverpool, An Old West Ham: Lineups And Preview

Back to scoring goals...

So, Liverpool FC head to West Ham tomorrow, with the hope of continuing their unbeaten streak, and to heap more misery onto West Ham

Kickoff Time: 13:30 GMT

Liverpool FC Possible Lineup: 4-2-3-1: Pepe Reina (GK) Jamie Carragher (RB) Martin Skrtel (CB) Kyrgiakos (CB) Fabio Aureilio (LB) Lucas (CM) Raul Meireles (CM) Dirk Kuyt (RAM) Steven Gerrard (CAM) Maxi Rodriguez (LAM) Luis Suarez (ST)

A rejuvenated Liverpool FC will head to West Ham today, with star striker Luis Suarez set to play his first away fixture for Liverpool. But Liverpool have no shortage of problems on Sunday, with several injury worries that will certainly tamper with their plans to reach that elusive Champions League spot.

Liverpool are expected to be without defenders Martin Kelly and Daniel Agger, who were both taken off against Sparta Prague while defenders Glen Johnson (Achilles) and Fabio Aurelio (adductor) are both a risk and £35m (S$71.7 million) man Andy Carroll (thigh) is still not ready to feature.

Former short-timer for Liverpool FC, Robbie Keane is expected not to feature in this fixture that is key to West Ham’s survival hopes and alongside him is James Tompkins, who is also unlikely to play. One who is certainly out of this encounter is defender Matthew Upson, who is out for the rest of the season with an Achilles problem.
