English side Tottenham inflicted a big victory over the 7 time UEFA Champions League winners, AC Milan, at San Siro earlier today. The first and only goal of the match was netted in by Peter Crouch just 10 minutes from time.
Despite the absence of Gareth Bale, Harry Redknapp’s side put in a promising and courageous fight against the host in front of a massive 80,000 fans. AC Milan’s big forward, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, though he snatched the equalizer for the home side in injury time, but unfortunately his overhead kick was ruled out for a push on Spurs captain Michael Dawson.
The frustration of the AC Milan players went well over the limit after the final whistle as their experienced midfielder, Genaro Gattuso, seemingly appeared to headbutt Tottenham’s assistant coach, Joe Jordan (a former player of AC Milan).
