AC Milan have reportedly been planning a double swoop for two Arsenal wingers/strikers and the two players will come with a hefty 45 million pound price tag.
The San Siro club will undergo a major overhaul of staff at the end of this season with a big emphasis on reducing the average age of the squad, and the two players they are interested in to spearhead a revolution are Arsenal’s Arshavin and Bendtner.
Bendtner is wanted to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic who will return to Barcelona once his loan spell ends and Russian international Arshavin will be brought in to compete with Robinho and Pato for a place in the starting line-up.
Arshavin has grown frustrated in North London as many of his appearances are coming off the bench, whilst Bendtner is reportedly unhappy with his lack of game time, along with Arsenal refusing to meet his contract demands, therefore seeking a move elsewhere.

Are you serious with the amount being mentioned? I will say that is great news for Arsene Wenger. I have always wanted the two players out of our team, because of their poor work rate.

They may leave the club but not for that fee! It’s more likely that they will leave for a total fee of £24 million (£12 million for each) – providing they actually are sold! At the end of the past 5 seasons there has been talk of a summer overhaul of the squad but it’s never happened. I’m hoping this summer will be different!

Rubish i say. Bentdher will come good once Robin takes his usual 3 months off in season. Arshavin is a difference maker and we need difference makers. Once Ramsey regains fitness, hoping for Diaby to stay healthy and improve, Theo plays full season with no ankle problems! we will need one more defender and striker. This is a good team with little luck we will be scary team to play.

Digger: Did you watch the Barcelona game? Or even any game? Week in, week out, season after season, it’s the same problem – the defence is shambolic! The extra protection from Melo would help prevent goals being conceded as well as adding some much needed steal to the team! Cahill would bring the English determination which has been missed since Adams, Keown and Campbell!
The key to success is clean sheets! This system would decrease the goals conceded per game percentage significantly! The 4 going forward are good enough to cause any team problems! Not to mention Song joining in!
