Arsenal have been scouring the football talent for their potential replacement for the inconsistent Andrey Arshavin and they look like they have found their man: Andre Ayew
Andrey Arshavin and Andre Ayew, they have a lot of similiarities, the first five letters in their first name is one, but that is completely irrelevant as Arsene Wenger looks set to offload the Russian pint-sized winger and bring in the 10 million pound rated winger Andre Ayew.
Ayew is of a tender age of 21 and is seen as a star replacement to replace the playmaking Russian on the wings. Ayew is having a brilliant season for Marseille this season and has already earned 29 caps for Ghana and even won the man of the match performance against the United States at the World Cup in South Africa last summer.
But Ayew isn’t fazed by the rumours and is, at least for the moment, concentrated on playing well for his French Club, Marseille. Ayew has spent 4 years contracted to Marseille, with a loan move to Lorient in that time frame. Ayew claims that,
I’m not going to talk about speculation in the newspapers and websites about my future with Marseille. These speculations won’t affect me at all because I am only focused on doing one thing and that’s helping my club Marseille this season… I will continue to play my heart out for my club as we want to win trophies and not to concentrate on what the media is speculating

Ayew has also been linked with Merseyside club Liverpool FC. Kenny Dalglish is keen to bring him to Anfield following the arrival of Andy Carroll and is looking for a good crosser of the ball for the Englishman to head in. Ayew has been seen as the man that fits the bill.

Ayew is the son of Africa’s legend Abedi Ayew Pele, he won the African Player of the year 3 consecutive times, won the only Champions league trophy with Masseile in 92-93.
Arsene wenger should do something about his squad the ealier the better,if Andre Ayew is the right replacement for Arshavin then Mr Wenger should make it happen because am sick and tired of tropheless seasons
